| | | | | | Clutter was a major problem for this client. Chest of drawers and closet were overflowing with clothes. Personal items such as video tapes, video game cartridges, cd's, dvd's were everywhere.
Considered high functioning, this client's aggressive behaviors mandated extra strength hardware be used in all construction. A cherry stained pine wood floor was used, with a matching cherry mica covering the 12 linear foot activity center and the rest of the furniture in the room.
The unit holds all personal items, and includes a desk to provide a place to write, draw or do homework.
The bed sits atop a platform containing deep drawers underneath for storage. A small chest of drawers (not seen) sits alongside the bed, to serve as a night stand and additional drawer space.
Note: Exceptional Designs did not create the window treatment or provide covering for the walls. |  | | | | | | This closet covered in matching cherry mica looks similar to Room 1's closet, except there is a double hanging area on top, with 2 deep drawers underneath to hold folded jeans and shirts.
This closet also has an upper lift door storage unit, and a toe kick at the bottom for shoes. | | | | |
